The mission of this agency is to provide supportive services to people who face barriers such as mental/physical illness, and/or homelessness, in order to facilitate their living with autonomy and dignity.

S.P.I.N, Supporting People In Need, is a non-profit program in Silver City NM, that began in Feb. 2017. In the past several years, we have become SO MUCH MORE THAN A SHELTER.

24 hour Emergency Shelter

Supportive care involves social workers, certified peers, and community support workers who help clients access the resources they are already eligible for but have barriers that prevent access. Barriers often include: lack of an address or transportation, mental illness, addiction, other heath impairments, cognitive impairment, and poverty.
