Our garden group is a hands-on, therapeutic experience where clients connect with nature to support their healing and recovery. Through planting, maintaining, and harvesting in our community garden, individuals learn responsibility, patience, and mindfulness. This group not only teaches valuable life and job skills, but also provides a calming space to reflect, regulate emotions, and find purpose. Gardening becomes a powerful metaphor for growth—clients begin to see that, like the seeds they plant, change takes time, care, and the right environment to thrive. It’s more than just working the soil—it’s about restoring hope, building resilience, and reconnecting with self and community.
